Photo at 2 years.BREEZE 2008 as been a good year for Breeze gaining her title, she is the 3rd champion now in my house, I am so proud of them all. We had an especially wonderful day at the South Wales Championship show under Judge John Stevenson when Blizzard took the dog cc and Breeze took the bitch cc with Breeze coming out on top for Best of Breed. Breeze has had numerous 1st places this year, the first three with the judges thoughts are listed below. 2009 Is going to start with Breeze becoming a mum, Jan 4th is the date we are looking forward to, keep your eye on the puppy page for updates.3 CHAMPIONSHIPS SHOWS 3 RED CARDS2010 Top DalmatianRead what the judges thought. Manchester, Alan Talbot Really liked her, super liver, wonderful head and ear carriage, well off for bone, cat feet, deep chest, well laid shoulders and with a good bend of stifle.Joint Dalmatian Clubs, Oonagh Gore Lovely exhibit, showing a very elegant outline, good spotting of correct colours, produced in lovely condition, pleasing feminine head, clean neck, level topline, well muscled over the loin, good tail carriage and feet, movement off a loose lead a joy to see. Crufts, Lyndsay Cutts Fabulous liver and white which as everything she needs to go right to the top. Still only 15 months old - only lack of maturity stopped her today from being a genuine challenger for a higher award. Her overall construction, balance and movement are all of the highest quality. A real showgirl whose future I look forward to with great interest.Shulune Fantazy On Ice J.W. ShCmD.O.B. 19/5/06 Ch Frankish Desert Trouper x Lady of Light from Shulune.Echo is another of Ike's gorgeous daughters, who is owned, bred and waited on by Michelle Fort.Echo has had a wonderful show career so far, with numerous placings at champ & open show level. She gained her Junior Warrant at an early age. Along with numerous 1st places & Group 1 placing, she also has 3 BIS to her credit, plus she has done well in Ireland with 1 Green star & BOB & group 3.Perhaps the most exciting day in Echo's career was the Junior Warrant Final at Earl's Court 2008 (when she got into the final 10 out of over 40+ dogs to compete in the final at Crufts 2009)Echo is a dream come true, having the best of her mum (Rahn) and her dad (Ike) combined, she has that little bit of something that only comes round once in a life time. Here is what some of the judges thought of Echo.Black spotted. Feminine bitch of good proportions. At one with the handler. Smooth line from strong arched neck to withers and into level topline. Strong, well set tail. Angulated quarters and well laid down hocks. Flowed over the ground on the move. Joan Richardson.Striking black spotted bitch with plenty of substance. Correct head with well framed ears. Good reach of neck and strong level topline. Good depth of chest and front assembly with strong round bone and good tight feet. Good rear angulation with correct bend of stifle and tail set. Was really on her toes and moved with drive and purpose exhibiting a good balanced action. Mr A Beeston (Sanadal).B/w bitch of 2 years, oozing confidence and showing her socks off from the moment she entered the ring. Lovely feminine head, with excellent expression, nicely marked ears framing a pretty face. Nice length of neck into well laid back shoulders, strong level topline and correct tailset. Adequate fore chest, and plenty of lung and heart room, well angulated, good, strong round bone and excellent tight cat feet. Good width of thigh with well developed second thigh, lovely bend of stifle and well laid down hocks. In tip top condition and excellent muscle tone allowing her good strong movement, with plenty of reach and drive. Never stopped showing, a really happy girl, BOB and delighted to see her impressing all day to go Utillity Group 1 and later Best in Show. Mrs Louise Clement, BIS judge Mr Graham Hill. From his very first mating at 16 months old until his last successful stud experience at nearly 9 years ( resulting in our Rosie ), Ike sired 89 puppies ( one of which appears above ). Out of these 89, only were 9 liver spotted, and they were over 5 mating, only one to a liver bitch, the only liver bitch he went to. So, predominately black genes. But out of those 9 liver, one became a champion - Mrs Moore's Ch Manchando Choc Choc Cookie from Fincham (see photo above), bred by Anne Horscraft. And even more odd, this was from the largest litter (12 puppies) that he'd sired. Strange what "going out" for breeding can do - as in the case of Ike himself? Of the black spotted progeny another " going out" has proved well for Michelle Fort's homebred Shulune Fantazy On Ice Jw who has done well in the show ring; and who obviously benefits from her owner's handling skills,(see above) Other progeny have been lightly shown and we have enjoyed seeing or hearing resemblances to Ike on many occasions. But one of the best has to be knowing that a puppy was being bought in secret for a then very young lady, and seeing her mature into a very confident and able junior handler.
